I believe rest is a radical act of self-love and healing. In a world that glorifies exhaustion, I am fiercely committed to dismantling systems of oppression through rest and rehabilitation rituals to restore your body's innate wisdom to heal and your intuitive gifts.
Rooted in compassion, accessibility, and social justice, my work is about reclaiming rest and healing as birth-rights. It's an invitation to remembering our interconnectedness with the natural world and that we are never separate from the web of life.
Jai Ma!
My yoga journey began in the mid 90s, when I explored various yoga traditions but mostly rooted in Satyananda practices. I completed the BWY teacher training in 2003 and Pregnancy Yoga module in 2004 when my daughter was born. For years, I intermittently taught yoga classes and workshops, including pregnancy yoga, while simultaneously navigating the demands of being a mum and working a full-time corporate career to support the household.
But like many, the Covid pandemic led me to question everything—my practice, my purpose, and the systems around us. A pivotal moment came in 2020 with the launch Yoni Shakti: The Movement, an education and awareness campaign that aims to end the abuse of women in yoga and reclaim it as a tool for planetary healing and justice. I was deeply moved by one of the speakers, Yoli Maya Yeh, a Yoga & Shiatsu therapist, and holder of knowledge of various indigenous traditions. Since then, I have been attending her online classes, decolonising and freeing the teachings from the grip of oppressive structures has deepen my practice in ways that feel truly healing and transformative. Now I hold space and offer practices that honour those teachings and lineages of Yoginis that walked before us.
More recently, I realising that sometimes we just need that extra tender loving care, I started offering nurturing massage therapies designed to release tension, restore balance, and invite deep relaxation. My signature massage experience blends the grounding techniques of Traditional Thai Foot Massage with the rejuvenating touch of a Natural Face Lift Massage, supporting both physical and energetic well-being.
